What you see before you is a munitions base exploding, near a village in Albania called Gerdec.

As we were waiting for a bus, an Albanian friend of mine and I swapped
stories about our countries.

I had to write about this one.
This is what he had to say:

As with most countries behind the “Iron Curtain” Albania had a massed quite a bit of munition during the cold war. As one would imagine something had to be done with all the old explosives and munitions. Well they couldn’t be resold, because no one knows what condition they are in. The logical choice was to decommission the munitions and sell the scrap metal, which there was plenty of and the country would benefit considerably from.

……So what went wrong?
Well the goverment contracted an American company to decommision the munitions. What the Albanian goverment at the time didn’t know, was that American company had its licence revoced form the United States due to irregularities.

Some of the people who worked there were 12-13 year old children.

Some of the people who worked for a US company to decomission EXPLOSIEVES were children.

Egypt has always been sought after for its strategic geographic location. It has a warm and temperate climate, typical of countries in that region.

When we first started this site we had 3 rules:

1. No religious views
2. No Political views
3. No Porn

The first two are still solid, but we seem to be flirting with disaster when it comes to the last one. All though to be fair we still haven’t actually shown anything.

Ahhh twich movies.. every now and then they’d write about a movie that just has to been seen, and especially if you’re a matrial arts buff
